Hidden Gems - 5- Toews

OMG, did Bucci actually write something that I enjoyed?? It's amazing. So Bucci interviewed Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks using questions that people emailed in. There was one particular question that caught my attention and I decided to investigate. The question and answer directed me to youtube where I found this.

This is a 10-second clip of Toews dropping an F bomb in an interview and his subsequent reaction. Hilarious.

"I'm Full of Rage!!!" As Well

This is a continuation off of KMS2's previous post titled “I'm Full of Rage!!” Seeing as how I proofread websites, reading Bucci's poor grammar (at times) is annoying. But today, this is not about his inability to find his own grammar mistakes. This is about who he's picked as numero uno in the West standings. That....GUY has picked the San Jose Sharks as number one...... ok, I so against this on so many fucking levels!!!! ARGGHHH!!! Here I was, innocently reading this article and I scroll down to number one and I almost projectile vomit at my monitor. Actually, I think threw my arms in the air, rolled my eyes and said, “WHAT THE FUCK!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PICKED THE MOTHERFUCKING SHARKS FOR THE NUMBER ONE SPOT!!!! FUCK!!! I HATE THEM!!!! FUCK!!!” I do not, nor will I EVER, have a liking for the Sharks. RAGE IS SPEWING UP FROM MY BOWELS!!! And why must you put that picture of Thornton up there?!?! I hate that guy! I can't even comment on the fact that he put the Kings in 13th place right now. There's no room for that as of this moment.

During their playoff run last year, I remember traveling for a race and watching a game in the series against the Preds at dinner the night before. I wanted nothing more than the Preds to win!! BUT, the Sharks won out and what made it 10 times worse was that 99% of people in the room were from nor Cal. *sigh* I got jeered at and taunted by basically everyone. FUCK! I was so fucking pissed off!! GRRRRRR!! I hated being the only Sharks hater in the room! Or in northern California for that matter!!

You know, I didn't dislike Bucci last year. I just went along my merry way reading articles posted by him and other correspondents. But this, THIS! This is appalling and, KMS2, if I could punch anyone in the face, it would be Bucci for writing that article!! “It's 'go' time.” WHATEVER BUCCI!! I want to punch you in the taint! I think I got out all the ranting... for now... And here it is, for your reading pleasure or whatever you want. BLEH!!!

And since Bucci likes quotes so much, I would like to end this article by quoting from one of my favorite movies, “The Boondock Saints.” “WHAT THE FUCK!! WHO THE FUCK!! HOW THE FUCK DID YOU FUCKING GUYS!!....FUCK!!!”

Conclusion: I have a potty mouth. And I hate the Sharks.

Truly Disappointed in Bucci

I generally like reading John Buccigross’s articles on ESPN but, of course, I don’t agree with everything he writes. For example, I don’t always agree with his taste in music, I completely disagree that bigger nets is a necessary change, and I definitely do not understand his fascination with Haaken Loob. Yesterday was his last article of the season and as excited as I was to read it and, at the same time, sad knowing that I would have to wait till September or October for another article, my feelings quickly turned to disbelief as soon as read the following statement: Ryan Getzlaf's hair is amongst the top 5 in the league. What!? Are you kidding me?! Bucci thinks Getzlaf has great hair? Either Bucci has a thing for balding men in their early 20s or he has never seen Getzlaf without his helmet. Getzlaf hair is very similar to Peter Laviolette’s hair. Looks great from the front but catch a glimpse of the top/back and you shudder in amazement that something like that could be happening back there. As you reach for the spray on hair you finally convince yourself that it’s okay, it’s natural, and there’s no need to overreact.

Not that I have anything against bald or balding guys, it’s just that no one in my family is bald or balding, not even my 75+ year old grandfather and, luckily for me, my boyfriend is going prematurely gray, but hey, I’m used to seeing that happen! The thing with Getzlaf’s hair is that it is so unexpected. I bet you 5 bucks Bucci doesn’t know Getzlaf is balding and when he does find out that he is, I bet another 5 bucks that Bucci will immediately drop him from the top 5 hair list. In fact, I’m going to email him and enlighten him on this fact.

Just wrote him an email and here it is:

Bucci,

Are you aware that Ryan Getzlaf is going bald? I don't understand how you can put a balding man in his early 20's on your list of Top 5 hair. I understand that it may look great from the front, but take off that helmet, turn him around, and you will see that ever expanding bald spot. If you were to judge player's hair based on the frontal view, then every hockey player who has or had a mullet would not be given credit for their ability to grow and shape such an amazing hairstyle. I think that in order for someone to make the Top 5, he must have great hair on his entire head. I think you should seriously rethink your statement that “Ryan Getzlaf's hair is amongst the top 5 in the league.”
