New Contributor!!!

After much arm twisting I finally convinced my friend, CKim, to help me write some posts. She's not hell bent on writing everyday, which I couldn't really understand given how much information we receive about the Kings from the local press. We've been friends for quite some time and instantly bonded over our deep set love for our LA Kings. She as big a fan of the LA Kings as I am and was brutally tortured during her stint up in San Jose country the past several years. Our older brothers played roller hockey together and we were their biggest fans, attending every game we could, and always criticizing the stupid puck bunnies who would just yell, "SHOOT IT!!! SHOOT THE PUCK!!!" every single time a player on their team touched the puck. So Annoying!

I'm not sure when CKim will write her first post but be on the lookout! And I'll make sure she gives a much better background of herself when she does put up that first post.

I really like the new background color!

So, er, if my brother either yells shoot or fight all the time, does that make him a puck bunny?

I had some difficulty figuring out what color scheme to use and the BF finally had to come in and make the final decision.

No, your brother will never be a puck bunny! ;) For some reason I think it's much, much more annoying when girls do it, probably because their voices tend to be much higher.

He made a good call.

It's true. I'm a rower, and it's much better to have a male coxwain, because their voices magnified on a microphone are so much easier to listen to. My bro is probably just ignorant. He has surprisingly managed to live in MN his whole life and learn very little about hockey. That probably has something to do with the fact that he doesn't like sports in general.

ha, I'm a coxswain and I purposefully make my voice lower so that I don't sound like a girl.

Bless you! Who do you cox for? Do you want to go to Willamette and Cox for us?

You're out of luck kirsten, CK is done with college!

I actually was a coxswain for about a semester before I realized waking up that early was going to ruin my academic career in college. And if anything was going to ruin my grades I was determined to have it be partying not crew...I had my priorities in order! ;)

Good call, kms2. It's probably why I get sick and never get better.

ckim-it was worth a try...thanks. I'm actually taking this season off to recover from surgery and possibly have another. Then hopefully I will be healthy for spring season.
