Who knew that two unrelated hockey players could look like they were separated at birth. After I posted about the Kings' recent draft picks, Steph over at NPI brought to my attention that Oscar Moller is a clone of Ales Hemsky. Not remembering what Hemsky looked like, I found his photo and about fell out of my chair in complete shock at how similar the two boys look.
Hemsky & Moller
Obviously, Hemsky is the one on the left with the Oilers jersey and Moller is on the right. They both have the "I'm so high" or "I have a viscous hangover" look on their faces. I think they both have a tooth missing, same hair color, similar hairstyles...they're freaking twins!!

If you find actually nice looking photos of Ales (we appear to be on a first name basis :b) and compare them with the cute baby draftling photos of Moller the resemblance fades a little...but when I saw that headshot I just about died of the similarities.
I think I'm going to have to like the Kings a lot more in future years...
haha, that was classic KMS2!
Steph: When you're as close to these players as you and Hemsky are, it's definitely okay to be on a first name basis. Maybe if Hemsky laid off the weed for a bit he might be a better player...just a suggestion.
You know, I'm a little disturbed that outside of Jussi Markkanen, the other player I do the first name thing with on a regular basis is.....Ty Conklin. Ow.
Think that would make him shoot the puck a little more often? He did seem to be uncharacteristically falling down quite a bit last time I saw him.
Steph: I didn't know Conklin was a fighter. Yes, he is pretty hot.
The only player I was ever on a first name basis with was Luc. (But the whole town was so I guess I wasn't all that special.) Oh, and Lubomir Visnovsky, but I like to call him Lubi!
See! See! He totally wins, too! (Of course I know next to nothing about whether or not taking on Nurminen and winning is anything to be proud of, so.)
Actually I think I call a couple Wings by their first name too - but it's usually because I'm referring to "Pavel and Hank" and that's just easier than "Datsyuk and Zetterberg" :b
I love saying "Zetterberg!" But also because I hate the way "Hank" sounds. I think that the only person who should be called "Hank" is "Hank Hill".
